OZARK NATIVE PLANTS
We offer one of the largest native plant selections in Northwest Arkansas. You'll find host plants, nectar sources, trees, & shrubs.
Native plants have grown in popularity over the years due to their climate tolerance, pest resistance, and ability to be self-sustaining. Natives can often be the best solution for tricky spots where other plants struggle, so check them out even if you thumb isn't very green yet!
"Native Plant" is a term used to describe plants that occur naturally or have existed in an area for many years ("Naturalized Native"). These plants, if planted in the proper conditions, will thrive in the natural environment with minimal care and maintenance.
This list is intended to give our customers an idea of the native plants that we try to keep in stock. It is in no way a comprehensive list of Arkansas native plants or of our inventory. This list was compiled based on information from Missouri Botanical Garden website and the University of Arkansas publication: Checklist of the Vascular Plants of Arkansas, by Arkansas Vascular Flora Committee, Copyright 2006
